The trip to Leconfield involves about half an hour of dirt road and you have to cross several cattle grids. There can also be livestock along the road that we ask guests to keep an eye out for. Any low clearance vehicles we do not recommend due to the conditions of the road. An AWD or 4WD is required for those wanting to stay in the Settlers Cottage.

As we are a working farm there is livestock in various paddocks around the property and there are water troughs, dams, and water tanks that are unfenced. The Mulla Mulla Creek is also unfenced as well as old sheds, outbuildings, machinery, etc that may pose a risk. As such, all children under the age of 12 will need to be supervised at all times while here on the property.

  • Smoking is permitted on the verandah and please use the ashtrays provided.
  • Wi-fi is available throughout your stay and while there is limited mobile phone service, if your phone has wi-fi calling you are still able to access calls, etc.
  • The accommodation that you choose is for your solo use during your stay. There may be other people at times staying in the other cottages that we have on the property that you may possibly run into when you are out exploring/walking. We are often around our farm to check on stock, fencing, etc, but we will not intrude on your solitude. However, feel free to say hello or come by and have a chat.
  • The health of our animals and the biosecurity of our farm is of utmost importance to us, therefore we ask that guests have clean boots/shoes before heading out to stay with us and vehicles are not to be driven around the property… a great excuse for a nice bush walk!
  • Fires can only be lit in the fire pits provided and not anywhere else on the property.
  • Please respect the homes and leave them as you found them

We endeavour to make sure everyone has a wonderful stay here with us, so please let us know if there is anything we can do to make your stay more comfortable. For bookings and/or further information please contact us via email at or give us a call on (02)67694328.
