During your stay here at ‘Leconfield’, you will have the choice to stay in our historic 100-year-old homestead or our gorgeous pioneer style Settlers Cottage. Situated right on our property featuring stunning Australian bushland and wide-open vistas, you will have endless trails to explore!
The beautiful Mulla Mulla Creek runs through a section of the property and is the perfect place for a picnic, take a dip or try a spot of trout fishing.
A delicious breakfast basket awaits your arrival! Both the homestead and cottages are equipped with rain water for bathing. There is also no need to worry about the distance to the local coffee shop as each of our beautiful accommodation options has a tea/coffee options available so you can still enjoy your favourite brew on the verandah in the mornings!
Wi-fi is available throughout your stay at both cottages and while there is limited mobile phone service, if your phone has wi-fi calling you are still able to access calls, etc. or if you want to stay for a while, you can still get some work done or take the time to finally write that novel!
Given the distance to the local shops, we suggest that you bring enough fuel, food and drinking water with you for your stay here with us. Swimmers are also a must in the warmer months and a good hat, sunscreen and insect repellent is recommended. A camera is also something that we recommend!
The trip to Leconfield involves about half an hour of dirt road and you have to cross several cattle grids. There can also be livestock along the road that we ask guests to keep an eye out for. Any low clearance vehicles we do not recommend due to the conditions of the road. As we are a working farm there is livestock in various paddocks around the property and there are water troughs, dams and water thanks that are unfenced. The Mulla Mulla Creek is also unfenced as well as old sheds, outbuildings, machinery, etc that may pose a risk. As such, all children under the age of 12 will need to be supervised at all times while here on the property.
